Summary: Abilene regional airport finds that we received 0.14″ of ice, 0.82″ of liquid precipitation better known as rain and 1″ of snow. Finding yesterdays upper low system that brought winery precipitation to a majority of the state of Texas The storm now, Finally making its way over towards Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas and portions of the south east here. We will continue to keep cloud cover with a few snow flurries through the early morning hours before peeling back the clouds, allowing temperatures to climb into the mix of the 40s. Heading into tonight. Clear skies. Allow those temperatures to fall down below freezing once again Saturday. Expect plenty of sunshine breezy wins back in the picture with temperatures into the lower 50s. We’ll see slight drop, and temperatures thanks to a cold front Sunday. Then we continue to warm up keeping temperatures into the mix of the 50s by next Friday with breezy winds.
