Fresno County Sheriff’s Office investigate fatal shooting near Parlier

Officials from the sheriff’s office reported that around 3 a.m., dispatchers received a call regarding shots fired near the intersection of Academy and Adams avenues in the county portion of Parlier.  

When deputies arrived on the scene they found a man outside on the ground who had suffered gunshot wounds. They attempted to provide him with medical aid, but he died a short time later.

No suspects have been identified, and the victim’s name and age are not available at this time.
