TUSCOLA, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – A crash involving an 18-wheeler and a pickup truck happened today, January 4.

Just southwest of Buffalo Gap, the accident happened around 11:45 a.m. at US Highway 277 and FM 89. The 18-wheeler had a minor diesel leak from its saddle tank due to the crash.

A DPS news release states the driver and co-driver of the semi, as well as the three occupants of the pickup truck, were taken to an area hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

Crews worked to clear debris from the highway and reroute traffic. Highway 277, which had been closed, has since reopened.

No further information is available at the moment.
