Early home engulfed in flames
EARLY, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – A house in Early was engulfed in flames at midnight on Thursday.

At around 4:45 a.m. on December 31, crews responded to a structure fire at County Road 381 happened.

Firefighters from the Early Fire Department (FD) arrived at 4:51 a.m. and found heavy fire on the back of the house.

Early FD Fire Marshal Seth Ringler reported that a car and two storage buildings were also on fire. Firefighters also said that people with pets were inside the house but evacuated safely.

The fire was controlled at 5:29 a.m., and the firefighters searched for any flames left in the house.

The Early FD stated that the house, storage buildings, and car were total losses.

When the Red Cross arrived, they were able to help the four people at the fire and assist a firefighter who had been injured.
