Daily Crime Reports: Man threatened with axe and knife by unknown suspects

Incidents

700 Block Shelton Street – Theft of Property
A 63-year-old male reported several of his items were stolen.

2200 Block Vogel Avenue Apartment – Theft of Motor Vehicle
The victim reported that an unknown person stole their vehicle overnight. The victim still has possession of the keys.

1100 Block Peach Street – Theft of Motor Vehicle
The victim reported a person she doesn’t know took her vehicle.

3700 Block State Street – Theft of Service
Theft of Service was reported on the North side of Abilene.

600 Block South Leggett Drive – Criminal Mischief
An unknown person broke out the windows of a local south-side business and caused $1,500 in damages.

3900 Block Whittier Street – Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon
Two unknown men threatened a 41-year-old man. The victim said that both men approached him while he was at his mother’s residence and asked for an item. The victim stated he didn’t know what they wanted. Both men pulled out a knife and an axe and threatened the victim.

2400 Block South 1st Street – Criminal Trespass
One man was arrested for criminal trespass at a South Side gas station.

1400 Block Pecan Street – Theft of Motor Vehicle
A theft case was worked at a south-side location.

700 Block Sycamore Street – Criminal Mischief
A man reported that someone he didn’t know had damaged his vehicle.

3000 Block Founders Place – Burglary of Vehicle
No narrative was provided.

2800 Block South 40th Street – Theft of Property
No narrative was provided.
