Crime Reports: Police say 3 men attempt to steal beer, points gun at clerk

5300 block of Taos Drive – Aggravated Robbery
A citizen reported being robbed at gunpoint at their south side home. This remains under investigation.

700 block of North 2nd Street – Theft of Property
A camera, lens, laptop and bag were reported stolen from a vehicle while parked downtown.

400 block of Avenue D – Online Impersonation
A 20-year-old woman reported that her ex created several social media accounts using her name and image.

3200 block of South 22nd Street – Criminal Mischief
A suspect damaged property at a southside home. If the suspect can be identified, the victim is willing to press charges.

300 block of Cotton Candy Road – Assault Family Violence
A man reported that his wife assaulted him.

1500 block of Locust Street – Exploitation of Child/Elderly/Disabled
A woman reported that the deed to her home was switched to another person and that her disabled husband may have signed the documents.

2300 block of Graham Street – Exploitation of Child/Elderly/Disabled
A man reported that a family member was financially exploiting his 86-year-old mother, who has dementia.

3300 block of Rebecca Lane – Theft of Property
$357 in tequila was reported stolen from a Southside convenience store.

1100 block of South 13th Street – Assault Family Violence
A 47-year-old woman reported that her 38-year-old boyfriend assaulted her.

100 block of Pleasant Hill Drive – Theft of Motor Vehicle
A woman allegedly took her boyfriend’s vehicle without consent.

3300 block of Green Acres Road – Assault Family Violence
An assault report was taken.

1000 block of East Highway 90 – Theft of Property
A vehicle was stolen from a Northside convenience store.

No location provided – Evading Arrest Detention
Abilene police arrested a 50-year-old man for evading arrest. An investigation is underway regarding an aggravated assault that occurred before his arrest.

2100 block of Crestline Drive – Theft of Property
A camera was reported stolen from a south-side location.

1300 block of Jeanette Street – Assault Family Violence
An assault report was taken at a southside location.

2800 block of East Overland Trail – Aggravated Robbery
On December 21, three young men attempted to make a beer run and stopped. One of the men then displayed a gun and pointed it at the clerk before fleeing.

3200 block of South 27th Street – Criminal Mischief
Numerous businesses reported damage to property.

5200 block of South 1st Street – Theft of Property
A $1,000 accordion was reported stolen by an unknown suspect in October.

3500 block of North 6th Street – Burglary of Building
A Northside business owner reported that about $2,700 in merchandise was stolen.

5300 block of Highway 277 South – Assault Family Violence
A 21-year-old woman reported that a man physically assaulted her, but she was not very cooperative in providing details.

200 block of North 14th Street – Assault Family Violence
A 39-year-old woman reported that her daughter’s boyfriend assaulted her.

3800 block of Ridgemont Drive – Theft of Property
A 57-year-old woman received a citation for concealing unpaid items, such as clothes and Christmas decorations.

200 block of Mulberry Street – Robbery
A 48-year-old woman reported that her ex assaulted her and took her phone.

4300 block of Buffalo Gap Road – Theft of Property
A woman was issued a citation for theft from a local store.

5000 block of Congress Avenue – Assault Impede Breath
APD responded to a northside residence due to a disturbance in progress.

4300 block of Southwest Drive – Theft of Property
A woman was detained for theft at a local store.

3300 block of Turner Drive – Driving While Intoxicated
An arrest was made for DWI, assault on law enforcement officers, and assault on hospital staff in South Abilene.

2100 block of Burger Street – Deadly Conduct
A report was taken for deadly conduct.

600 block of South San Jose Drive – Assault Family Violence
A case report was completed for Class C Family Violence.

1400 block of North 15th Street – Assault Family Violence
A woman reported that her sister’s boyfriend assaulted her and possibly her sister at a Northside home.

4000 block of South 7th Street – Burglary of Building
An unknown suspect broke into an apartment complex that’s being renovated and stole many tools.

5200 block of US Highway 277 – Burglary of Vehicle
A registration and a tool bag valued at $500 were reported stolen.
