Exclusive Santa interview before busy Christmas

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – Santa Claus sat with KTAB 4u anchor Victoria Mordente today, December 12, to discuss Christmas this year.

Santa discussed how he looks forward to driving a pickup truck in West Texas, as he said you can’t drive any vehicle in the North Pole.

Santa said he likes all types of cookies, especially chocolate chip cookies, chocolate chocolate cookies, and coconut cookies. He also said the reindeer love the warm weather and the grass, especially the Abilene State Park.

Santa takes off his coat and wears his candy cane shirt in Australia. He also shared his sources on the naughty & nice list, although some are secret.

Some sources can be elves on the shelves, and he also said they have other types of surveillance equipment. Santa stressed that he checked that list twice but mentioned that most kids are nice. He said when children get a little older, they are not.

When KTAB’s anchor Bob Bartlett was seven years old, he wanted a toy truck and loved it as well. Santa mentioned it was back then when Johnny Jetson was popular. Bartlett also asked for baseball mitts, baseball, and a bicycle.
