The Comanche County Sheriff’s Office and the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Criminal Investigations Division executed a search warrant and made an arrest after months of investigation.
Based on information gathered about the suspects, officials utilized the DPS Special Response Team to execute the search on December 20, 2024, in the 200 block of Cato Street. The operation resulted in no injuries.
James Morton, 33, from De Leon, was arrested for evading arrest or detention and for the manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance (PG1 4-200 grams) within a Drug-Free Zone.
Christopher Tovar, 37, from De Leon, had outstanding warrants for theft, organized retail theft, and was charged with evading arrest or detention in Comanche County.
Alliyah Rios, 21, from Comanche, has been charged with evading arrest or detention.
