CLYDE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – Two suspects were caught with a u-Haul full of packages from Abilene, Callahan County, and elsewhere in Texas.
The suspects, later identified as Chelsea Blackwell and Lonnie Chance, were caught during a traffic stop around 10:00 a.m. Wednesday in Clyde.

A social media post from the Clyde Police Department states the suspects were caught inside a u-Haul that was full of mail, including packages, from Callahan County, Abilene, Taylor County, Rosebud, Texas and Baton Rouge, LA.
An investigation is now underway into the large scale mail theft. Anyone who believes they may be a victim is asked to contact law enforcement to make a report.
Blackwell and Chance are both being held in the Callahan County Jail without bond on Theft of Mail charges.
