ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – A SWAT team executed a high risk search warrant in north Abilene Wednesday afternoon.
The warrant was executed at a home on the 4700 block of State Street around 1:30 p.m.
Police at the scene told KTAB and KRBC officers needed to search the residence as part of a stolen firearm investigation, and due to the high risk nature of the investigation, a SWAT team had to help.
One resident from the home was detained during the search. His identity or potential criminal charges have not been made public at this time.
