Crime Reports: Suspect caught vandalizing port-a-potty in south Abilene

2400 block of Garfield Avenue – Theft of Firearm
A victim reported three vehicles were burglarized overnight and a handgun was stolen.

2900 block of Old Anson Road – Evading Arrest
A victim reported her boyfriend would not leave her residence and he kicked in the door. When officers arrived, he ran through the parking lot and was eventually arrested in a nearby wooded area.

4200 block of Sayles Boulevard – Burglary of Vehicle
A victim reported one of his trucks was burglarized.

2900 block of Old Anson Road – Criminal Mischief

2700 block of S 14th Street – Theft of Property
A victim reported a license plate was stolen from his vehicle.

600 block of Beech Street – Assault Family Violence
A suspect was arrested after he assaulted his girlfriend.

3200 block of Pine Street – Injury to Elderly
An elderly victim in a wheelchair reported her adult son hit her in the head with a wooden back scratcher.

4500 block of Southwest Drive – Theft of Property
A known suspect was arrested for stealing from a south Abilene business.

1700 block of N 10th Street – Criminal Mischief
A victim reported a known suspect busted out two of her apartment windows.

2200 block of Amy Lyn Avenue – Assault Family Violence

4500 block Southwest Drive – Theft of Property
A south Abilene business reported a suspect was seen selecting items from display shelves and placing them in a basket. He then exited without paying.

1900 block of Pine Street – Criminal Trespass
A suspect was contacted for causing a disturbance.

200 block of Arnold Boulevard – Assault Family Violence
Police arrested a suspect for assault in south Abilene.

UNDISCLOSED LOCATION – Graffiti
A suspect was seen painting graffiti on a port-a-potty in south Abilene.

3200 block of S Danville Drive – Robbery
A victim was assaulted by a known suspect.
