The Clyde Police Department is aware of a recent series of thefts and criminal mischief, where holiday decorations have been stolen.
“It’s unfortunate that the citizens of Clyde can’t have nice things or display their holiday cheer without fear of the property being stolen or destroyed,” Clyde PD shared online.
Residents of Clyde have reported stolen Christmas lights, a light shower, and broken decorations in an online community group. One resident reported that a snowflake light was stolen, and someone also tore a hole in the inflatable snowman.
If you are a victim, please report it to the Clyde Police Department. If you or someone you know has a surveillance camera, the police ask that you review the footage for any suspicious activity. If you have any information, please call the department at (325) 893-4111.
