Every day from now until the end of the year, we’ll be posting a Secret Santa surprise, and today we are surprising a young family in Blackfoot.
Paige and Terance are some of the kindest people you will ever meet. They are fun-loving and always have a smile on their faces. They are the type of people who would do anything they can to make someone’s day a little brighter.
In November, Terance started to have double vision and migraines which led to him being flown from Idaho Falls to Salt Lake for emergency surgery at the University of Utah. Doctors discovered two different brain tumors.
The tumor that caused the double vision was benign and successfully removed. The second tumor was partially removed but it was malignant. The location of the tumor makes it impossible to be completely removed.
The family returned home for Thanksgiving and Terance seemed to be doing great but around the first of December, he started having seizures. He was again flown to Utah and referred to the Huntsman Cancer Center where he will begin treatments in a few weeks.
Terance is the family’s main provider. Paige is always finding a little extra work here and there to help, but mostly stays home with their four kids.
Paige and Terance aren’t the type to complain about their circumstances but focus on their blessings.
