AMMON — A unique live musical experience to celebrate Christmas is happening in Ammon next week.
“(Fever’s) mission is to democratize access to culture and entertainment worldwide by creating and promoting unique, immersive and accessible experiences for a diverse audience,” Fever’s spokeswoman Lucia Casado stated.
One way they do this is by putting on their renowned Candlelight concerts for communities where the performers and venue they are playing in are illuminated by thousands of candles.
“Candlelight is a series of original music concerts created by Fever in 2019 to democratize the access to classical music,” Casado explained.
She said the Candlelight concerts connect people with cultural, artistic and entertainment experiences that enrich their lives and foster a deeper appreciation for the arts.
The upcoming Candlelight Christmas concerts coming to Ammon will feature a string quartet, which typically consists of four musicians — two violinists, one violist and one cellist. They will perform well-known Christmas songs such as “Silent Night,” “We Wish You a Merry Christmas” and “Jingle Bells,” as well as other holiday soundtracks and selections from “The Nutcracker.”
Casado said attendees can expect an intimate and enchanting atmosphere that creates a lasting memory.
“Attending a Candlelight provides a one-of-a-kind opportunity to experience classical music in unique venues illuminated by thousands of candles,” Casado explained. “The setting enhances the atmosphere, offering a distinctive way to enjoy well-known compositions. The event also highlights the skills of local musicians and promotes cultural engagement within the community.”
