Nursery Sunday School Teacher and Christmas Program Director Julie Patton Holmes said this is the first year in approximately 15 years that the church has had enough children at Enon to have a Christmas play.
“This year we have 11,” she said. “We will have a simple nativity scene with the children dressed as their parts with the play being fully adult narrated. All but one or two children are 3 and under.”
The play begins at 5 p.m., with prelude music to enjoy beginning at 4:30.
Holmes said there will be refreshments and a hot chocolate bar to enjoy afterward.
Enon Baptist Church is located at 8001 County Road 1435 in Vinemont.
