Secret Santa has a surprise for a single mom who has been living in a camper with her 4 kids

A local Secret Santa is giving $1 million to deserving people in eastern Idaho this holiday season and the East Idaho News elves are helping out.

Every day from now until the end of the year, we’ll be posting a Secret Santa surprise, and today we are taking a gift to a woman named Amanda.

She has been living in a camper waiting for her house to close. Amanda works two full-time jobs while raising four children alone. Each child has special and unique challenges and each came to be with Amanda through unusual means.

The kids are Amanda’s life and she would give them anything she could for them.

She saved enough money to get into a home with her family and was finally able to move in a few weeks ago. All they had were their clothes, blankets, toys and a few odds and ends.

Secret Santa asked the East Idaho News elves to visit Amanda and surprise her with an early Christmas gift. Check out the video in the player above!
