The House of Black are back. On Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, House of Black (Malakai Black, Brody King, Buddy Matthews, & Julia Hart) made their return to television. The Factory, led by QT Marshall, confronted Best Friends, Rocky Romero, and Orange Cassidy after Cassidy successfully defended his AEW All-Atlantic Championship against Jake Hager. During his speech, his mic was cut, the lights went off, and when they came back on Hart was at the top of the ramp and House of Black were in the ring. The trio took out Best Friends, all members of The Factory, and security staff. Malakai grabbed the mic at the end of the segment and asked members of the House of Black to rise. House of Black last competed as a trio at AEW All Out, losing to Sting, Darby Allin, and Miro. After the match, Black bowed to the crowd. Black later confirmed he asked AEW for his release, but denied reports that he was granted his release and said he might return to AEW TV soon.
