20. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (LW: 20)
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers offense and team are in trouble. After a solid performance and win over an underrated Falcons team, they have reeled off three straight losses, with two coming against a couple of the worst teams in the NFL. On Thursday night, Tom Brady and receiver Mike Evans held up their end of the bargain against the Ravens. However, the run game continues to struggle and limited them to just 22 points and another loss.

19. Arizona Cardinals (LW: 19)
Kyler Murray and the Cardinals’ offense have been up and down throughout this season. At times he and the squad have shown the serious potential they have, and in others, they have been held down with ease.
Deandre Hopkins, the team’s top receiver, returned recently from suspension and has immediate results, including a 12 catch and 159-yard showing in Week 8. While he and Murray had strong performances against the Vikings, a poor showing from the run game and two interceptions keep them at 19 this week.

18. Green Bay Packers (LW: 17)
Despite being led by the reigning NFL MVP, the Packers offense has struggled mightily at times. And it has shown in Aaron Rodgers’ public displays of frustration. After being a top 10 team in these NFL offense rankings early in the season, they have quickly fallen to the back of the list. If they continue their current level of play, they could be out of the top 20 soon.

- Opponent yards against average: TBD
17. Cleveland Browns (LW: 16)
Jacoby Brissett was put into a very difficult position in having to take over the signal-caller reigns for the Cleveland Browns during Deshaun Watson’s suspension. However, the seven-year veteran has performed admirably for the Browns over the first six weeks. Also, Nick Chubb has been a beast and made things much easier. The Browns may be 2-5, but it hasn’t been the offense’s fault for Cleveland’s disappointing results this season.
- Next opponent: Bengals
- Opponent defense ranking: 10th
- Opponent yards against average: 321.1
16. Jacksonville Jaguars (LW: 13)
With new head coach Doug Pederson leading the team, Trevor Lawrence and the offense have been far more potent in 2022. Scoring 20 points or more over five of the first six weeks of the season, including a 38-point showing in Week 3. However, in recent weeks they have been slowed down, including back-to-back weeks where they could only manage 17 points against better defense from New York and Denver.
- Next opponent: Raiders
- Opponent defense ranking: TBD
- Opponent yards against average: TBD
15. Dallas Cowboys (LW: 15)
It has been a difficult year for the Dallas Cowboys offense. They have battled injuries and the biggest being to starting QB Dak Prescott. Nevertheless, they endured with backup Cooper Rush under center for a few games and are now rising up the NFL offense power rankings with their starter back in the fold.
This group was already one to respect, but now they are getting in a rhythm and showed it when they stomped the Chicago Bears in Week 8. Scoring 49 points and getting some assists from their talented defense.

14. Los Angeles Rams (LW: 11)
Matthew Stafford and the Rams’ offense have been a mixed bag in 2022. Splitting their first four games and struggling against two of the best defenses in the league. In their games against the Bills and 49ers, the offense was only able to muster a combined 19 points. That was the story a few weeks later in Week 8 as an elite 49ers defense held them to just two TDS. That poor showing drops them out of the NFL offense rankings this week.
- Next opponent: Buccaneers
- Opponent defense rankings: TBD
- Opponent yards against average: TBD
13. New Orleans Saints (LW: 15)
This season is a lost one for the New Orleans Saints, however, it hasn’t been completely the offense’s fault. While Jameis Winston and Andy Dalton have surely had key mistakes in games, the offense has been able to put up points throughout the season. After a rough, and pick-six-filled showing in Week 7, Dalton and the unit bounced back on Sunday to score 24 against the Raiders as Alvin Kamara killed Las Vegas with his vintage dual-threat talents.
- Next opponent: Ravens
- Opponent defense rankings: TBD
- Opponent yards against average: TBD
12. Miami Dolphins (LW: 14)
Tua Tagavailoa has been pretty darn good to start the 2022 Miami Dolphins campaign and helped them quickly rise up the rankings with the assistance of talented speedsters Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. However, a scary injury in Week 3 has completely derailed their hot star. Teddy Bridgewater and Skylar Thompson did not maintain the standard in relief and it’s why they quickly fell from the top 10.
With the Alabama alum back the team is showing its early season form and filled up the stat sheet on an awful Lions defense in Week 8, with Tagovailoa throwing just short of 400 yards.
- Next opponent: Bears

- Opponent yards against average: TBD
11. Atlanta Falcons (LW: 12)
The Atlanta Falcons offense has been one of the biggest surprises in 2022. Cordarrelle Patterson has been stellar and Drake London is growing into the WR1 they were hoping for when they made him the first receiver took in this year’s draft. Marcus Mariota has been far from spectacular as the team’s starter but he is doing something right as they have consistently logged 21 points or more every week over the first six weeks, including 28 against the league-leading 49ers defense.

NFL offense rankings: 10 best in football
10. Las Vegas Raiders (LW: 7)
The Las Vegas Raiders have started the season 2-5, but mostly because the defense has not delivered as consistently as the offense. The player that has taken their offense to a higher level in 2022 is Josh Jacobs. Rushing for 144 and 154 yards, respectively, in recent outings. That fun ended in Week 8 as he and the offense had their worst showing yet when they were shut out by the Saints.
That is why they’ve dropped three spots in this week’s NFL offense rankings.
- Next opponent: Jaguars

- Opponent yards against average: TBD
9. Detroit Lions (LW: 10)
Jared Goff and the Detroit Lions’ offense was a pleasant surprise in the opening weeks of the NFL season. The veteran QB was impressive and received a bunch of help from running back D’Andre Swift and receiver Amon-Ra St-Brown –who had been absolute game-changers early. Unfortunately, they have fallen to earth in a major way in recent weeks.
However, they looked better in Week 8 as they scored 27 against the Dolphins and Goff threw for over 300 yards.
- Next opponent: Packers
- Opponent defense rankings: TBD
- Opponent yards against average: TBD
8. Seattle Seahawks (LW: 9)
When the Seattle Seahawks traded team legend, Russell Wilson, in the offseason the assumption was that their offense would see a major drop in productivity with Geno Smith leading the way. He has stunned in leading a scary good Seahawks offense and, shockingly, has played at an MVP level in the first half of the season. Plus, rookie Kenneth Walker III has quickly become one of the best running backs in the league this season.
They earned moving up a spot in Week 8 by posting 27 points — with an assist from turnovers — against the Giants.
- Next opponent: Cardinals
- Opponent defense rankings: TBD
- Opponent yards against average: TBD
7. Baltimore Ravens (LW: 8)
Lamar Jackson is in a contract year and as you would expect from any athlete aiming for a massive new long-term deal, he has been fantastic. Through the air and, of course, on the ground. He’s shown that for much of the season despite a lack of help outside of the always-reliable Mark Andrews. With 1,277 passing yards and 451 on the ground, Jackson is one damn near of the best offenses in the NFL by himself.
In Week 8 they overcame a slow start and dropped 24 points in the second half against a solid Buccaneers defense. Jackson starred again with 281 total yards and two TDs.
- Next opponent: Saints

6. Los Angeles Chargers (LW: 6)
Justin Herbert continues to look like a budding superstar in the new season and his crew of receivers has delivered despite some early injuries. After taking a nasty hit late in their Week 2 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, the young star had an off game in the follow-up but has bounced back since then and powered his unit to be one of the best NFL offenses.
- Next opponent: Falcons
- Opponent defense rankings: TBD
- Opponent yards against average: TBD
5. Cincinnati Bengals (LW: 8)
Joe Burrow’s missing training camp and the preseason had a major effect on the Bengals’ offense to start the 2022 season. They were just not themselves over the first few games, however, that is not the case anymore. Over the last few weeks, the passing game has looked like the monster that helped the team storm to the Super Bowl earlier this year. It hit a peak 2022 moment in Week 7 when Burrow threw for an absurd 481 yards and got 130 or more yard performances from both Ja’Marr Chase and Tyler Boyd. It won’t be long before the Bengals challenge for the spot of No. 1 offense in the NFL.
The Bengals got some terrible news this week when it was revealed that Chase could be sidelined for as much as six weeks with an injury. Nevertheless, they still have enough to beat up the Browns on Monday.

4. Minnesota Vikings (LW: 4)
Justin Jefferson has continued his ascension to elite status in 2022, as he has been a monster for the Minnesota Vikings this season. Kirk Cousins has done a strong job of giving him opportunities and Dalvin Cook has also been an impact player to lead the ground attack. It has made the Vikings’ offense a well-oiled machine all season and led to their recent hot streak of five straight wins.
- Next opponent: Commanders
- Opponent defense rankings: TBD
- Opponent yards against average: TBD
3. Philadelphia Eagles (LW: 3)
Jalen Hurts has been outstanding through the air and on the ground in year three. Not to mention Miles Sanders has also offered up another strong threat in the rushing game, and AJ Brown has been exactly what the team hoped for when they traded for him in April. In Week 8, they brutalized the Steelers as Hurts continued to make his case as an MVP candidate. Throwing for 285 yards and four TDs against a solid Pittsburgh defense.
- Next opponent: Texans

- Opponent yards against average: TBD
2. Kansas City Chiefs (LW: 2)
Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs offense have quieted all the doubters. They lost an elite pass-catching talent in Tyreek Hill and continue to chug along as a dominant offense because of the brilliance of Mahomes. Barring some major injuries, Andy Reid and the boys should continue to be one of the premier scoring squads in the game throughout the 2022 NFL season.
In Week 7 they were absolutely monstrous as they pounded a talented 49ers defense to the tune of 44 points. In their bludgeoning of San Fran’, Mahomes racked up 423 passing yards and three touchdowns.
- Next opponent: Titans
- Opponent defense rankings: TBD
- Opponent yards against average: TBD
1. Buffalo Bills (LW: 1)
Sure, getting some more out of the running attack would be great, but there really isn’t much to complain about since the Buffalo Bills have the No.1 offense in the NFL. Josh Allen is a serious MVP candidate and Stefon Diggs has been an absolute animal in the passing game. While former offensive coordinator Brian Daboll has helped to make the New York Giants a surprise team in 2022, the Bills’ offense has not missed a beat in 2022.
While they didn’t fill the stat sheet quite as much against the Packers as they had in the previous weeks, they were still impressive against a good defense in Week 8 and hold on to the top spot in our NFL offense rankings.
