Oakland: Man shot in thigh in East Oakland neighborhood

OAKLAND — A man was injured after a shooting Sunday in an East Oakland neighborhood, authorities said.

Shortly after 3:15 p.m., police received a report of a possible shooting in the 3500 block of Gray Street in the city’s Harrington neighborhood.

When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from two gunshot wounds to his thigh. Officers provided care until paramedics and Oakland Fire Department firefighters were able to take him to a hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.

Police did not share a description of a suspect or associated vehicle.
