The Strawberry Supermoon reached its full stage early Tuesday morning.
The phenomenon is known as a supermoon is because of its proximity to Earth, and it’s also labeled as the “Strawberry Moon” because it’s the full moon at strawberry harvest time.
Across the globe, photographers trained their lenses on the beautiful spectacle.
The moon was at it’s lowest point at 1:56 a.m. on Tuesday, according to NASA. Here in the Bay Area, the moon rises tonight at 9:26 p.m.
