RED BLUFF — The Red Bluff Police Department is searching for those involved in a shooting near the Applebee’s Grill and Bar parking lot Friday afternoon.

Officers were dispatched around 4:05 p.m. Friday to the intersection of Antelope Boulevard and Sale Lane. After interviewing witnesses, they learned that a group of young men got out of their truck, fired on another vehicle, and then fled the scene westbound on Antelope Boulevard.

Nobody inside Applebee’s or the nearby Burger King was harmed.

The local hospitals had not received any patients with gun-related injuries as of 5 p.m. Friday.

Police were still in the process of gathering evidence and information on the vehicles.

This is a developing story and it will be updated as additional information is released.
