Chicago Bulls’ Coby White, Patrick Williams recovering from injuries

Chicago Bulls guard Coby White is on track in his recovery from surgery to his left shoulder and is expected to make a “full return” to the team in November.

The Bulls said White will be on hand when training camp opens Tuesday and will take part in the non-contact portions. He underwent surgery June 10.

Forward Patrick Williams, who sustained a severe left-ankle sprain in an optional individual workout on Sept. 15, is expected to return in four to six weeks. He is having daily treatment.

Both young players are expected to be in critical roles for the Bulls in the 2021-22 season, which begins Oct. 20 at the Detroit Pistons.
