What is your name and what city do you rep?

FlowKase – Port-au-Prince /Broward

Tell us about your latest releases, what inspired you to create them?

My latest release FlowByTheBeach is my second mixtape what inspired me to do it, because I love making music and I wanted to drop a collage of music so it’s kind of like me arriving to America because I was born in Ayiti , my first mixtape the Broward tape the picture is just footsteps on the sand the second one in the picture is the ocean in a house by the ocean and the third one will be completely different because now I’m driving through the city

What is unique about you and your music?

What is unique about me is that I’m a real artist I take it very personal you have to Write your own lyrics you have to print the whole picture because if somebody’s gonna cry for something that you created at least make sure it comes from the heart

What shaped your music?

All the experiences I went through coming from Ayiti to New York and then to Florida and living in Broward and have been doing most of my childhood here I learned a lot had a lot of fun and I just want to bring that through the music so people could feel it in their souls

When did you realize you were going to make music professionally?

I realize since I was 13 I was in a group when I started wrapping it and every time we were close to blowing up we always broke up that happened to me three times literally a decade and a half of that happening to me so since last year I started doing it on my own when I drop the first mixtape I said it’s over I’m a just do it by myself and this is me doing it by myself

What type of music do you listen to?

I listen to music that I really love old-school jams from James Brown to Sade of course Michael and some white artists to that I can’t think the name of right now lol and also original reggae music and of course he should music and couple Spanish music that I like I like couple bad bunny jams Lol But as long as the music is beautiful it’s catchy have a soul to it most likely I love it

What inspires you to write music?

Me all the things that come up to my head I just want to show the world so he can tell me if I’m crazy lmaooo, and also to retire my moms

What do you do when you don’t do music (creative or otherwise) and that you are passionate about?

I’m always doing music I could be driving listening to the radio or somebody else this song and I’m wrapping in my head so long as I hear of the other two music but outside of that I am working on building a movie production with my brother so we’re gonna be doing movies other then that just regular man stuff watching football chilling with the homey‘s drinking and smoking and fly things like that lol

Happiness to you is…

God/ The Most High.

What do you wish you were told when you first started making music that you think would help artists just starting out?

oh my god this question right here is the one lol I wish could tell myself forget everybody whoever you got a leave behind you got a leave behind don’t listen to everybody drop it put it out there put the spotlight on you if they don’t like it they don’t like it if they do they do but just remember everybody doesn’t wanna see you succeed.

Tell us about your upcoming projects…

my next project is going to be called the loud cricket and it’s going to be completely different I’m talking R&B type rock and roll Type country music type but in my way so it’s still not gonna be the traditional stuff here but it still will sound like it’s me.
