AT&T [NYSE: T] Enters Into A Contract To Divest Its Government Solution Business

AT&T [NASDAQ: T] announced that the company inked an agreement to divest its Government Solution Business (GSI). Tyto Athene will purchase the government solution including AT&T’s Department of Defense IT professional services business and select other contracts. The companies also consented to ink a collaborative contract for prospects in the DoD IT professional service market.

The blend of Tyto and GSI would make a leading supplier of IT proficient services and solutions for basic US Government (TIMXX) agencies. After the closing, Tyto will employ roughly 1,200 talented workers with 18 workplaces across the US and around the world. Tyto anticipates that this transaction should improve its capacity to address the quickly developing necessities of the technology-empowered digital transition.

Chris Meilhammer, President and COO of Tyto Athene states “We are glad to reveal entering a contract to purchase AT&T GSI. Moreover, We look ahead to uniting our forces with the GSI group. Additionally, Tyto trusts that the way of life of Tyto and GSI are profoundly corresponding. Both centers around conveying better solutions to the client and mission. Moreover, We will be ready to profit from the secular tailwinds of U.S. Government interest in legacy IT modernization and Cybersecurity endeavors. Tyto looks ahead cooperating with AT&T to recognize and seek after prospects in the DoD (DODSF) and beyond.”

“Selling these resources lines up with our methodology to help and serve our public area clients with our networking solutions. We remain dedicated to empowering our customers’ prosperity across the Public Sector and assisting them with modernizing their framework in support of their missions. We look ahead to the prospect to work with Tyto to address the issues of our Federal clients.” Anne Chow, Chief Executive Officer, AT&T Business
