Missouri Department Of Conservation Reporting Final Preliminary Deer Season Numbers

Preliminary final numbers from the Missouri Department of Conservation is showing deer hunters in the state harvested 176,064 deer during the November portion of firearms deer season.

That is down statewide by three thousand, three hundred and fifty six deer from last year and is largely contributed to bad weather.

In Audrain County hunters harvested 1,425 deer which was up by 10 from last year.

Hunters in Callaway took 2,720 deer down by 660 from 2019.

In Boone County 1,692 deer were taken down from the 2,000 deer harvested last year and in Pike County 3,400 deer were harvested that was increase from the 2,671 taken in 2019.

In Monroe County 2.188 were taken this year up slightly over the 2,169 deer that were harvested last year.

Of the 176,604 deer harvested, 95,654 were antlered bucks, 16,045 were button bucks, and 64,905 were does.
