MORAGA — Three Contra Costa residents were in county jail after a warrant service at a home this week led to arrests on suspicion of several charges related to human trafficking and other offenses, authorities said Thursday.
In a statement, police said several months’ worth of complaints about a Miramonte Drive home led investigators to develop information about suspects with possible connections to crimes in Contra Costa and San Mateo counties.
Based on that information, officers obtained a search warrant for the home and accompanied Contra Costa Sheriff’s Office SWAT team members there Wednesday.
Two men, identified as 30- and 35-year-old Moraga residents, were arrested on suspicion of human trafficking, pimping and pandering, while a 31-year-old Oakley man was arrested on suspicion of identity theft and possession of a controlled substance, police said.
Citing an ongoing investigation, police released few additional details but said anyone with information may call Moraga police Det. Kevin Mooney at 925-888-7056.
