OAKLAND — One man was killed and another man wounded during an East Oakland shooting on Saturday afternoon, authorities said.
The names and ages of the victims were not released. A possible motive was also not immediately available, investigators said, and no arrests have been made.
The shooting happened at 2:51 p.m. in the 2200 block of 35th Avenue at Davis Street.
One man was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The wounded man was driven to a local hospital by another person.
Police and Crime Stoppers of Oakland are offering up to $15,000 in reward money for information leading to the arrest of the shooter. Anyone with information may call Oakland police at 510-238-3821 or Crime Stoppers at 510-777-8572.
