A mandatory evacuation has been ordered because of the Quail Fire, burning in Solano County.
The sheriff’s office gave the boundaries of the evacuation area as Quail Canyon Road on the west, Highway 128 on the north, Interstate 505 on the east and Olive School Road on the south.
Under an evacuation warning advisory is an area bounded by Pleasants Valley Road, Lakeview Drive, Allendale Road and I-505.
The evacuation shelter is Three Oaks Community Center, 1100 Alamo Drive in Vacaville. The Winters Community Center is also open for evacuees, but it does not have sleeping accommodations.
Pleasants Valley Road and Cantelow Road are closed.
