Protesters demanding justice for the killing of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and others have used their voices to chant their anger at police brutality. That may not come through in pictures, but the messages in their signs and art come through loud and clear.
These images show people carrying placards that demand change. Others want to remember the names of those killed during police actions. Street art features the image of Floyd, who was killed under the custody of the Minneapolis police officers on May 25. The messages are diverse but all are a rallying cry for justice as they criticize as system that they view as unfair to African-Americans.
The images above show the signs protesters carry and the art they create.
