ANTIOCH — Two teenagers and a young man were shot in Antioch early Monday, according to police.
Antioch Police officers found a 16 year-old boy and a 22 year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds in the 2900 block of Cashew Street at almost 1 a.m. Monday.
After receiving first-aid from the police officers and then medical personnel, those two victims were taken to a local hospital and are in “stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries,” according to a memo by Antioch Police Cpl. Brian Rose. A third shooting victim — also 16 years-old — arrived at the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries while police were still on the scene.
Police arrested a 26 year-old man in connection with the shooting, as well as a gun thought to have been used in the shooting.
