A man was found shot at Calvary Cemetery in San Jose’s Alum Rock neighborhood Saturday, police said.

Officers responded at about 3:20 p.m. to a report of gunfire in the Catholic graveyard at 2650 Madden Avenue and found the man suffering from at least one gunshot wound, police said. He was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

The shooting is under investigation. No motive has been determined or suspect or suspects caught, police said.

The cemetery, which opened in 1882, spans 16 acres and holds the remains of more than 23,000 people.
