Police respond to two stabbed in West Oakland

OAKLAND — Police are responding to two people stabbed in West Oakland, authorities said.

Shortly before 7:50 p.m., officers responded to the 600 block of 23rd Street for an argument among several people that preceded the stabbing report and found a male suffering from several stab wound to the lower left abdomen.

A second victim was also found nearby. Both victims’ conditions were not immediately available.

No description of two suspects reportedly seen leaving the area was available.

For information leading to the arrest of a suspect, police are offering up to $5,000 in each stabbing. Anyone with information may call police at 510-238-3426 or Crime Stoppers of Oakland at 510-777-8572.
