Drayton Valley non-profit receives funding through restaurant campaign

A local organization in Drayton Valley has won $500 after being nominated for the Mr. Mikes Steakhouse Casual’s Deeds Well Done Campaign.

The Drayton Valley Health Services Foundation is one of 44 charities who received funding as part of the campaign, which aims to inspire people in the restaurant’s markets to reflect on what is important during the holidays.

Now in its 7th year, the Deeds Well Done Campaign has awarded $500 to a registered charity in each of the communities the restaurant is located in.

The winning organizations were selected out of more than 4,800 nominations from Mr. Mikes guests, who were invited to submit their nominations throughout November and December.
