RDC Kings, Queens supporting Hockey Fights Cancer this weekend

Hockey has been part of many people’s lives across Canada and unfortunately so has cancer.

As part of Hockey Fights Cancer weekend at RDC, proceeds from the 50/50 draws at both the Kings and Queens’ home games will go to the Canadian Cancer Foundation.

Hockey Fights Cancer was founded in 1998 by the National Hockey League (NHL) and National Hockey League Players’ Association (NHLPA) to rally support for people with cancer, and their families.

RDC Queens Hockey will take on the MacEwan University Griffins this Friday, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. at the Gary W. Harris Canada Game Centre. Then on Saturday, Kings Hockey will host Concordia at 7 p.m.

Tickets for both games can be purchased at the door or online at rdcathletics.ca.
