New Zealand ETA Visa for foreigners to take effect from October 2019
The NZ eTA, otherwise known as the New Zealand Electronic Travel Authorisation, was launched by the Immigration Agency, Government of New Zealand after July 2019. The agency is, however, requiring citizens of all 60 visa waiver countries to obtain NZeTA visa, and all cruise travelers, by October 2019. Consequently, British, German, and United States citizens are now required to possess New Zealand ETA Visa from October 2019.
NZ eta has become an entry requirement for a person entering into New Zealand for a short-term stay, tourism, or business visitor activities. All airline and cruise line crew are also required to hold a Crew New Zealand eTA (NZeTA) before travelling to New Zealand (NZ).
The Nz eta Application is designed to be an easy and straightforward process, with the completion of an online application form in less than 5 minutes. The Eta New Zealand can apply for NZ eTA from their mobile, tablet, PC or computer and receive it in their email inbox. The visa is valid for 2 years and can be used for multiple visits.
Some of the information required for New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority (NZeTA) applicants include:
